It started with Peugeots back in 1993, aged 18. Three decades on, AMS Prestige is a family-run, appointment-only business working from a unit in Barlborough — no forecourt games, no pushy sales tactics, just cars we'd be happy to put our own name on. Which, as it happens, we do.
Most of our cars sell to people who've bought from us before, or been sent by someone who has. That only happens if you do it right.

How we select vehicles
We only buy cars we’d be happy to put our own name on — which, as it happens, we do. That means clean examples with sensible miles, a full-ish service history where the age demands it, and nothing that needs more work than we’re willing to do properly. We buy from auctions, private sellers and part exchanges, and we turn away more than we take on.
Prepared properly
Every car we sell has been HPI checked, carefully inspected and prepared to a standard we stand behind. If a service is due, it gets done. We don’t patch things up and hope for the best. Every car is supplied with a minimum of 3 months’ comprehensive warranty as standard, backed by AutoProtect Mechanical Breakdown Insurance — not an upsell, not an optional extra, just included in the price.
